We would also be happy if you could use it as a guide after your visit to Arita Town. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arita has a profound charm that cannot be conveyed at first glance. Therefore, we will operate this website so that it will serve as a bridge between Arita Town and visitors to the town through the stories behind the town and the sights that lie in this region. The website is managed by the English Study Group, a volunteer group of members who love Arita Town. They do not know that a small, quiet mountain town called Arita in Saga Prefecture, on the western edge of Japan, was the first to produce porcelain in Japan. The beautiful white porcelain and blue-and-white ceramics are fired, preserving the traditional craftsmanship that thrives to this day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many kilns, including the Kakiemon kiln and Imaemon kiln, who continues to uphold their legacy, safeguards the techniques of Living National Treasures. Surrounded by nature, the town&#8217;s rich history and scenery with it&#8217;s climbing kilns, chimneys, and Tonbai walls aptivates visitors.
