There are 88,000 shrines in Japan. Shinto is our indigenous religion of Japan, featuring a multitude of gods, including Mt. Bronze Guardian Dogs

These are the largest guardian dogs made of bronze in Japan. One says “あ”(a) and the other says “ん”(n). According to Sanskrit alphabet, “あ” means the beginning and “ん” means the end. There are seven pairs of guardian dogs in this area.
